THE BIG MAMA JAMA OF ALL WEDDING QUESTIONNAIRES
This will take you sometime to complete so cozy up with your babe/dog/cat/coffee/wine and lets get down to the nitty gritty. The aim is for all of us to be 100% clued up to every detail so I can do my very best on wedding day and capture your story as authentically as it unfolds.
Some other details to consider come wedding day
I want your wedding photos to be flawless. We will be as unobtrusive as possible. Here are some suggestions for you, so that we can make the best results possible:
Have your "getting ready" area as clean as possible. Make sure to tuck any bags in a closet, corner, or anywhere out of area that we will be photographing your getting ready images.
If you are wearing makeup, please consider a foundation or powder that will reduce the chance of having a shiny face. PLEASE try to avoid mineral makeup (foundation or powder). Its best to avoid anything that has sunscreen built into your makeup. The minerals in the powder tend to reflect light, which makes for splotchy weird spots on your face if we need to use flash. Your makeup artist will be able to help you pick the perfect foundation for you!
Make sure dresses, suits, and other wedding wear that need to be steamed are steamed well in advance
Please remove price tags/labels from things like shoes, jewelry, dress, suit, watch.
Please have both of the wedding bands AND the engagement ring(s) in one area.
Please have your save the date, and wedding invitation together. As soon as we get there the day of your wedding we can start photographing your detail shots while you're still getting ready.
It's really helpful if all of the little details are in one place so we can get to work as soon as we arrive!
Be sure to ensure the presence of all family members required at your formal photos. It always takes some time to gather people together and pose them so that everyone can be seen, etc.
Prepare family members prior to the wedding day, inform the people you want in posed photos where and when they will be needed for pictures. I'll have a list of names but if they aren't there, there normally isn't time to go looking for them later. Pre-assign a family member or friend who knows the people to round them up for pictures. Getting people where they need to be for family formals is by far the most time-consuming part of group shots.
